At the fixed euro rate (655.957 FCFA = €1): about €23 a page, €0.10–€0.18 a word; the Referral Retainer is about €229 a month.
For documents billed per word, firms are charged at the lower end of the range for the document’s level of technicality.

10 pages reserved each month at firm rates, turnaround of two business days guaranteed, dedicated contact. For a document billed per word, 225 words count as one page: a 2-page power of attorney counts as 2 pages, articles of association of 4,500 words as 20. Beyond the allowance: 15,000 FCFA a page, or the per-word rate. Unused pages do not roll over. Annual agreement, no exclusivity, cancellable with one month’s notice.
Confidentiality and billing options
Confidentiality
Strict professional confidentiality. Documents deleted 30 days after delivery; only the register of certified translations is kept indefinitely, and it holds no document content. NDA signed on request.
Billing
Two options: invoice the firm, or invoice the end client with the firm as referrer. Quote, pro forma, purchase order and final invoice. Firms outside Togo can be invoiced in EUR, USD or FCFA and settle by bank transfer or international wire (SWIFT).
Worked examples
Succession with a foreign will — a notary opens an estate in Lomé that includes a will drafted in English abroad. I produce a sworn French translation of the will and any accompanying probate extracts so the notarial deed can cite them with legal effect. Turnaround is usually quoted by page count once the scans are complete.
Power of attorney for a notary — a client abroad signs an English power of attorney that must be used before a Togolese notary. I deliver a sworn translation into French with stamp and signature so the notary can annex it to the deed without delaying the signing appointment.
Foreign judgment for exequatur — counsel needs an English-language judgment recognised in Togo. I deliver a certified translation of the judgment and its operative parts; the firm handles the exequatur procedure itself — my role stops at a translation the court can rely on.
