01About Me

I operate this website at azaeliloki.com. I am Azaël Iloki, sworn translator and language expert, accredited by the Cour d'Appel de Lomé, Togo. I provide certified and general FR↔EN translation, language courses, corporate training and academic tutoring.

02What Data I Collect

I only collect data that you voluntarily provide when you:

• Submit the contact form on this website (name, email/WhatsApp, service needed, message)
• Leave a review on this website (name, country, rating, review text)
• Contact me directly via WhatsApp, email or Calendly
• Share documents for translation (document content, personal information contained therein)

I use limited third-party services to operate this website:

• Google Analytics 4 — anonymous usage statistics (page views, device type). Google may set cookies. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Web3Forms — processes contact form email submissions (name, email, message) to deliver them to me.
• WhatsApp (Meta) — if you send a quote request via WhatsApp, your message is transmitted directly through WhatsApp.
• Supabase — stores reviews you submit on this site (name, country, rating, review text).
• Cloudflare Email Routing — forwards email sent to [email protected] to my business inbox. Message metadata and content pass through Cloudflare's email routing service.

I do not use advertising cookies or sell your data. You can disable analytics by using a browser ad-blocker or Google's opt-out tools.

03How I Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to:

• Respond to your inquiry and provide the requested service
• Send you a quote, invoice or delivery for your project
• Display your review on this website (only your name, country, and review text)
• Follow up on ongoing projects

I do not use your data for advertising, marketing to third parties, or any purpose beyond direct service delivery.

04Pricing, Invoicing & Service Delivery

Published rates on this website are shown according to service type:

• Corporate & institutional services (general translation, corporate training): rates are exclusive of tax (HT). Fully compliant corporate invoicing is available for businesses and NGOs.
• Academic services (tutoring, adult language courses): flat monthly rates for individuals — all-inclusive, with no hidden fees or extra charges.
• Certified translation: base rates for individuals (Net); exclusive of tax (HT) for corporate accounts and institutional invoicing.

How services are delivered:

• Corporate training — at your office/premises in Lomé or live via Zoom
• Adult language courses — online via Zoom, or in-person at your home or workplace in Lomé
• Academic tutoring — in-person at the student's home in Lomé
• Translation — documents accepted as PDF, Word (.docx), JPG, PNG or clear scans; delivery by email and/or certified print as agreed

If you pay by Flooz, Mixx by Yas, Ecobank Mobile or bank transfer, I may retain payment references for accounting and invoicing only (typically up to 5 years).

05Document Confidentiality

All documents shared for translation — including immigration files, civil-status records, legal papers and corporate contracts — are handled under strict professional confidentiality. This applies whether your documents are destined for Togo, the EU or elsewhere.

How I handle your files:

• Used solely to complete your translation project — I do not subcontract document content to third parties
• Kept in a secure, encrypted working folder only for the active project
• Never sold, published or shared with any third party for translation or processing
• Permanently deleted once delivery is confirmed, unless you request earlier deletion or we agree a short written retention period for an active institutional project

If you send files via WhatsApp or email, those services process your transmission as described in section 06 — but the document itself is not passed to any other person or platform for the translation work.

06Data Sharing

The exceptions below apply to communication channels you choose (booking, contact, analytics). They do not mean your translation files are shared with third parties for processing.

I do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party. The only exceptions are:

• WhatsApp (Meta): if you contact me via WhatsApp, your data is subject to WhatsApp's privacy policy
• Calendly: if you book a call, your data is subject to Calendly's privacy policy
• Web3Forms: if you submit the contact form, your data is processed by Web3Forms to deliver your message to me
• Supabase: if you leave a review on this site, your review data is stored on Supabase servers
• Cloudflare Email Routing: if you email [email protected], your message is processed by Cloudflare to forward it to me
• Google Analytics: anonymous usage data is processed by Google — see Google's privacy policy
• Google Reviews: if you leave a Google Review, your data is subject to Google's privacy policy

07Data Retention

Translation documents: Source files and working copies are permanently deleted after confirmed delivery (default practice). Earlier deletion is available on request at any time.

Other data: I retain only what is necessary to:

• Complete and deliver your project (contact details, quote and delivery records for the project duration)
• Comply with legal obligations (invoicing and accounting metadata — typically up to 5 years; this does not include your source document content after deletion)
• Display your review on this website (until you request removal)

08Your Rights

Under applicable data protection laws, you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the data I hold about you
• Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data
• Erasure — request deletion of your personal data
• Objection — object to the processing of your data
• Portability — request your data in a portable format

To exercise any of these rights, contact me at [email protected]. I will respond within 30 days.

If you are in the European Union or European Economic Area, you also have rights under the GDPR. Contact me at the same address to exercise them.

09Website Reviews

Reviews submitted through this website are stored using a shared storage service integrated into the site. By submitting a review, you consent to your name, country, and review text being displayed publicly on this website. You may request removal of your review at any time by contacting me.

Selected Google reviews may also be imported automatically from my Google Business Profile and displayed with a Google attribution link. Google review data is subject to Google's privacy policy.

10Security

I take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. This website is served over HTTPS. Translation files are stored in an encrypted working folder during active projects and permanently deleted after confirmed delivery.

11Changes to This Policy

I may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. Continued use of my services constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
